I have collected marbles since the 1980s, so I know which ones not to permanently stick to an art project. These vintage machine-made swirls were made by the Alley Company or another West Virginia marble company. I was going to sacrifice them to the project for obvious reasons, but the location on the boat I had chosen did not show in the garden anyway, so I left them off. They are not a rare type, less than a dollar each.
